What is Grappling?

Grappling is submission fighting.  Submissions apply pressure to joints and/or arteries that force your opponent to give up.  Submissions are a highly effect method of combat to handle a situation without causing severe damage or trauma to an opponent.  Although grapplers start on their feet, most of the serious work is done once the fight has been taken to the ground. Grappling has been questioned as a martial art in the past, but its profound success in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has recently made it an absolute necessity to all evolving martial artist.

Our Grappling Program is unmatched.  For the inexperienced, Grappling may seem to be No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu, but in reality Grappling incorporates an array of wrestling takedowns, counters, and arm drags.
